Research and Development Manager

A Research and Development Manager will be the individual who will be in charge of the strategic, operational and administrative operations of the primary healthcare services. They operate in community health centres, clinics, general practices or not-for-profit health organisations and ensure that the healthcare services are provided in an efficient, safe and regulatory manner as well as organisational goals. Their service promotes quality and affordable healthcare to various people. Managers direct regular activities, manage the staff, resources and budgeting and service planning. They work with professionals such as medical practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative teams, which can ensure that work flows and efficient patient care systems are maintained. A major task is to be in compliance with the healthcare regulations, accreditation standards and funding requirements.

Another important dimension of the job position is strategic planning and service development. Managers examine the health requirements of the communities, measure the performance of the services and introduce improvement programs to improve patient outcomes and organisational performance.
