A mixed crop farmer does multiple tasks every day, which involve leading the production and marketing of crops, soil preparation, crop harvesting and taking knowledge of market and environmental factors. They do farming work like collecting, storing, grading and packaging produce and organising the sale, purchase and dispatch of produce. They maintain and calculate records of farming activities, watch market activity and plan crop preparation and production to fulfill contract requirements and market demand. They also manage business capital such as budgeting, taxation, debt, loan management and select, train and oversee staff and contractors.
