Librarian

A librarian is a person who works in a library and organises, manages and provides access to information resources in the library area.  Their duties include selecting and receiving books, journals, databases and other study materials for the library's collection. They also classify the books so it can be easy for people to identify them. Librarians also work with patrons to find information resources and give guidance to use them correctly. They also create and provide programs or services that satisfy the needs of the community, like literacy programs, book clubs or cultural events. 

A librarian is a library expert whose main work is organising large amounts of digital and physical information and helping people find what they need. They can work in different places like in schools, community colleges, universities, research institutions, public libraries, government buildings and other organisations that give library services to the public. A librarian usually holds a higher position that involves watching other library employees such as library technicians and assistants. 

Librarians also contribute to managing digital resources like e-books, online databases and multimedia content. They stay up-to-date with changing technology and the latest trends in information science to make sure that library users can use the most current and relevant resources.
