Footballer

A footballer is a professional player who competitively plays football at either club, national or international level, who shows outstanding physical skill, tactical and coordinating skills of the team. Their main feature is to prepare, train and play matches and play a part in team strategy, performance and success in the field. The football players undergo daily training sessions that involve fitness, skill acquisition, muscularity, stamina, agility and positioning skills. The coaches work closely with them to teach them game plans, to analyse the opponents and to develop better tactical decisions. Passing, defending, attacking and formation and executing the plays that are in line with team strategy and key responsibilities. The footballers need to remain focused, speed up their reactions, communicate efficiently and adjust to the changing conditions of the game during matches. Out of the field, a footballer is very disciplined in eating, resting, mental training and life to reach the optimum performance. They meet their team members, watch match videos and attend promotion events or interactions with the media as demanded by their club. Prevention of injuries and rehabilitation are also mandatory components of their routine 

Footballers have to operate under severe pressure situations and performance where consistency, teamwork and resiliency are important. They have to deal with competition, public expectations and demands of the performance without being unprofessional and unsporting. There are numerous footballers who also give back to the community through community programs, youth training or club outreach programs. A Footballer has a major role to play in contributing to the sport in terms of its competitiveness, entertaining the audience, and representing their teams. It takes career commitment, discipline and passion in football.
