Court Orderly (Aus) \ Court Registry Officer (NZ) works as a professional to make sure that all work related to the court runs smoothly. Their main task includes giving orders in court, like assisting the judge and helping the witness and public. They also take care of administrative tasks like document management. This job needs a strong understanding of court matters and good knowledge of how to easily communicate and interact with new people. A court orderly needs to keep dignity and decorum in court at all times.
Court orderlies also maintain a list of jurors and witnesses and summon them when needed. Court orderlies aslo have the title of courtroom deputies or bailiffs and they have multiple tasks to do like managing orders and security within the courtroom. Assist the judge when needed, safely taking in and out of the courtroom to the defendants, jurors, and witnesses. They make sure that everyone present in the courtroom is safe. They also do tasks which are given by judges or the court administrators.
Court orderlies answer public questions and guide new visitors to the right palace. They do daily tasks like photocopying and the distribution of internal court papers. They remind the rules related to courtroom appearance and make sure that they follow them properly.
They give their full support to keep the evidence safe. They have the ability to handle sensitive information and keep themselves away from any politics. They also have knowledge of weapons and how to do self-defense in a dangerous situation.

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of workplace training, or AQF Certificate IV ANZSCO Skill Level 3
In New Zealand:
NZ Register Level 4 Qualification ANZSCO Skill Level 3
At least three years of relevant experience may be required in place of the formal qualifications listed above. In some cases, relevant experience and/or workplace training may be required in addition to formal qualifications. This occupation requires a qualification equivalent to an academic level of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III or higher and in a field highly relevant to the nominated occupation.
