In Australia:

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma ANZSCO Skill Level 2

In New Zealand:

NZ Register Diploma ANZSCO Skill Level 2

At least three years of relevant experience may be required in place of the formal qualifications listed above. In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to formal qualifications. Qualifications in some engineering fields may be taken on a case-by-case basis if the program includes enough core topics in structures, materials, drafting/drawing, and their respective specialty areas.
